Four Eyes Quad Goggles (DGT-18)
The DTG-18N is a panoramic night vision goggle with four intensifier tubes and a 120° field of view, offering unmatched situational awareness. Designed for demanding missions, it supports both helmet-mounted and handheld use with long battery life and rugged construction.
Four Eyes Quad Goggles (DGT-18)
Model: DTG-18N
With the new technology, Detyl developed a new Ground Panoramic Night Vision Goggles called DTG-18N.
The purpose of the DTG-18N is to provide the operator more information under goggles, allowing him to more quickly move through the OODA Loop (Observe, Orient, Decide, Act).
The most striking feature of the DTG-18N is the presence of four separate image intensifier tubes with four objective lenses arrayed in a panoramic orientation.
The center two lenses point forward like traditional dual-tube goggles, giving the operator more depth perception, while two more tubes point slightly outward from the center to increase peripheral view.
The two tubes on the right and the two on the left are spliced at the eyepieces. The operator sees the two center tubes somewhat overlapping the two outer tubes to produce an unprecedented 120° FOV — a true game-changer for the SOF community.
The right and left tube pairs are housed in merged assemblies and suspended from a bridge, allowing for interpupillary adjustment.
They can also be detached and used independently as handheld viewers. The IPD can be adjusted directly on the helmet mount.
The DTG-18N supports dual power modes: an onboard battery and a remote battery pack tethered via standard DC cable.
It includes a remote pack accepting four 3V CR123A batteries, offering 50–80 hours of runtime (with IR off).
The remote pack also functions as a counterweight, balancing the goggle’s approximate 880g weight.
