The DTG-18 Series is panoramic quad-tube head-mounted night vision solution, developed to provide the operator with significantly more situational awareness in dark environments. The series includes DTG-18, DTG-18N, and DTG-18F, all designed around a 120° panoramic field of view with four image intensifier tubes and four objective lenses arranged to expand peripheral vision while preserving forward depth perception.
The center two optical channels face forward like a traditional binocular night vision device, while the outer two channels are angled outward to enlarge the viewing area. The operator sees a merged panoramic image with minimal distortion, allowing faster observation, orientation, and response. This makes the DTG-18 Series especially suitable for tactical navigation, search tasks, and operations that require maximum battlefield awareness.
Within the series, DTG-18 is the standard panoramic model, DTG-18N offers a lighter housing and lower finished weight, and DTG-18F adds flip-up and side-flip shutoff capability for more flexible helmet-mounted operation. All three versions support Gen 2+ / Gen 3 tubes, automatic brightness control, bright light protection, and built-in IR illumination.
